A Small Dilemma

It's cold here, and I decided that it was time to get D's 3-6 month clothes out so he would have something warmer to wear.  It's crazy, but he still fits in his 0-3 month clothes pretty well.  The only problem we've had with them is that they are getting too short.

As I was going through all of his "big boy" clothes, I realized that we were a little overly ambitious as we were buying them before he was born.  He had all kinds of CUTE summer clothes that he will never wear because they're still too big!  I've learned my lesson...next time I will not pre-buy a bunch of clothes, no matter how hard they are to resist! LOL!

So here's the dilemma...there is no such thing as a 0-3 LONG!  I have no idea what the child is going to wear this winter.  Long sleeved onesies, yes.  But on his little legs?  3-6 month pants are WAY too big in the waist, and 0-3 month pants are WAY too short...do they sell belts for babies? :)
Hmmm...what to do, what to do.

Buy him a belt?

Find a baby taylor?

Leaving him in pj's all the time is not an option, or not the one I want...He's just too cute dressed up like a little man!

 See? :)

Anybody know where they sell 0-3 month LONG??

  3. Roll them down at the waist. That is what I had to do for my guys...well except for Logan. He has a big waist so I have to roll the pant legs up since I have to buy the larger size pants. LOL!!! I always bought those Carter's (Wal-Mart and Target have these) cotton pants. They look like baby sweat pants but they aren't as heavy. Then you just roll the waist down or roll up the pant legs. Sometimes you just have to make due.

Oh...and about the Summer clothes that he won't be able to wear. Don't feel bad. Logan had TONS of clothes that he never got to wear either. For some reason everyone thought he needed new clothes when he was diagnosed but everyone (myself included)failed to realize that he would be spending a lot of his time in a hospital bed. Whoever bought his clothes at the garage sale got one heck of deal. Brand new never been worn clothes at a cheap price.

  4. What about the pants that have the button inside so they can be tightened? My 6 year old still wears them because he is so long and skinny!

  5. Braeden always fit into one-piece outfits best, and when I found a brand that fit well, I always bought quite a few. Also, Old Navy pants often have the adjust to fit waist. Those are nice because then you can buy the larger size, and just adjust the waist size. Don't feel bad, I have tons of things that Braeden never wore, as a matter of fact he still fits into everything from last year!
