O Christmas Tree(s)

Thanksgiving night we pulled out the boxes of Christmas decorations.  Justin and I were both super excited about decorating for Christmas for our first year in our new house!  We ended up with four trees this year.

I took these pictures tonight (and it got dark at about 4:00 today) so the lighting is terrible!  Sorry for the poor quality...

Derrick's "Go Cocks" tree
He had to touch every ornament on his tree tonight and he said, "Go Cocks!" every single time he touched one.  He loves his Gamecocks just as much as we do! :) Last year we had Cocky as the topper, but I haven't come across him yet.  I'm assuming he's still in one of those boxes that have yet to be unpacked.

We have the vintage aluminum tree in the dining room again.  My aunt found us a color wheel this year, so that's pretty exciting!  Obviously it's not on in this picture.  I was in a hurry!  Sorry!

We have the Christmas tree that Justin and I bought the first Christmas we were married in the playroom.  I had big plans for it, but we couldn't find the white lights when we were putting it up and it didn't turn out like I had imagined.  I'm not a huge fan of it so it didn't make it on here.

I love, love, love our big tree!  Again, the picture isn't the best because of the lighting, but you can get the idea.
It's super colorful and I love everything about it!

This is our mantle (that my handy hubby and father-in-law made a few weeks ago).  It's right beside the tree.  I really like how all the colors look on the white fireplace. It's simple, but that's how we like it.
Yes, we only have two stockings and we're working on adding the 4th person to our family.  We've been looking for new stockings for two years now and haven't found exactly what we're looking for.  I think I'm going to break down and make some.  I guess there's no time like the present to figure out how that sewing machine works, right?!  I'll try to have those finished by next December.  Ha!

Mosey on over to the Thrifty Decor Chick's, Hooked on Houses, and Kelly's Korner to see some beautiful trees!

Merry Christmas!
