Thanksgiving Day

We spent the afternoon visiting family over at Gong Gong's house.  It's been tradition to take a group photo of all of the grandchildren, and now the great-grands too.  It's still impossible to get a good pic of all of them!

This was Thanksgiving last year.  They've all grown up so much!

We always play in the front yard for a while.  Usually there's a football game of some sort happening, but this year jumping off the porch was the most popular game.  I'm hoping that by the time D is big enough to do this that the desire of the game will have fizzled a bit... Fat chance, I'm sure! :)

D was busy doing his own thing.

The leaves were a blast to play in,
and as always, we took the annual walk in the woods.

D had his first tree-climbing experience,

and had TONS of fun playing in the leaves!

He just couldn't get enough of it!

D and Colin finally had a little time to sneak that game of football in before it was time go home.

Once we got home, we dug out the Christmas ornaments and got busy!
And we found our first present under the tree!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  1. What great pictures! He is so so so cute and getting so big. Glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! :)

  2. Love these pictures, especially the leave ones. What cute kids you have! Have a great day!

  3. Great pictures Shannon. It was a bit too cold up here in Iowa on Turkey Day to play in the leaves or go on a hike like we have done in the past. Way TOO cold!!

Glad you guys had a wonderful holiday!
